There is great fishing available every month of the year. The North Island has the famous rivers Tongariro, Rangitikei and Taharua, and Lake Taupo is one of the best trout producing lakes in the world. The South Island has many remote rivers and lakes ideal for catching brown trout, and is also famous for salmon fishing. The waters around the top of the North Island are renowned for big game fishing, catching and releasing species such as Marlin, Tuna and Billfish.

Trophy hunting is done during February, March, April (prime time) and May. However different species of deer can be found all year round in many areas of the country.

We will tailor make an itinerary to suit you, whether it be staying in luxurious lodges, simple huts or safari type camps.

No need to be super fit as we can fly you in by helicopter to remote areas, or drive in using four wheel drive vehicles.

Fifteen minutes out of Wellington there is great deep sea fishing for bass, grouper & bluenose.
