SALT WATER FLY FISHING
An exciting way to start your holiday and to test your hand and your gear. Try a day
trip in a launch chasing schooling fish. This can be a lot of fun and a great test
for the skilled fisherman. Kawhai, Kingfish, Tuna etc can all be chased and fished
for using flys. Should you wish to fly fish or use heavy tackle for Marlin or big
game fish, this would involve a five to six day trip as the game boats have to travel
offshore to the Marlin grounds. We can supply gear if required.
BIG GAME FISHING
This involves six days
living on board a game fishing boat. Average
fitness is all that is needed, as well as
reasonable “sea legs” as this is off shore
deep sea fishing in the best waters of New
Zealand. In the deep sea waters there is very
good bottom fishing for grouper, bass, bluenose,
shark, kingfish & tuna. Also light-line
fishing to test your skill is exciting. We can
supply gear if required.
TROUT FISHING
Fish in world renowned lakes and rivers in the North and South Islands for Rainbow and
Brown Trout, plus Salmon in the South Island. Go harling on Lake Taupo or fly fish
in the rivers of the central North Island or in the remote wilderness areas of the South
Island. We can supply gear if required.
DEEP WATER FISHING
We can offer some exciting deep water fishing. We offer daily trips out of
Wellington to a great fishery. You could catch any of the following: Grouper, Bass,
Bluenose, Ling, Shark or some fine Tarakihi.
Gear can be hired but you need to have good 'sea legs'.
